Pass the iPad to the next commander. Only they should reveal the board.
Each player arranges 40 pieces in their four home rows. Swap pieces in the starting formation, or choose Place manually and select ranks from the tray. Lock in your army when all pieces are placed. In two-player mode, pass the iPad at the privacy screen after every move. Only the next player should reveal the board. Solo mode plays against the computer.
Movement: One square horizontally or vertically. Scouts (2) can travel any distance in a straight, clear line. Lakes block movement. Flags and Bombs cannot move.
Combat: Move onto an enemy to attack. Higher rank wins; ties remove both. A Miner (3) defuses a Bomb. A Spy (1) defeats a Marshal (10) only when the Spy attacks. All other attackers lose to Bombs.
Victory: Capture the enemy flag, or leave them with no legal moves. Revealed ranks remain visible. The same piece cannot move back and forth between the same two squares more than three consecutive times.
